Early in 2014 the owners of the Palace Theatre site lodged a new Planning Permit Application. This included a revised proposal for the hotel design which still blatantly flaunted height setbacks and restrictions applicable to the site.

So it is time again to start mailing in objection letters. Whilst our arguments are still largely on the same grounds, the application now has a new reference number which renders all previous objections invalid.

Please print the attached document, fill it out and send it in to Melbourne City Council. This is no longer a State matter due to the reduced scale of the project, thus the Planning Minister does not make the decision.
