About

On June 5, 2010, the small town of Elmwood was hit by a tornado. The tornado destroyed much of the downtown business district and The Palace Theater was among the buildings hit. As of this writing, The Palace Theater is 3 years short of being 100 years old. It has provided affordable entertainment for the community for a long time.

The Palace Theater will need extensive repairs and it is not currently known what it will cost to fix it.

The theater has served the community in numerous ways. It’s a point of pride for Elmwood.

It’s time for the community to give back.
