Objection Letter



The revised design for the demolition of the Palace and construction of a 78 room hotel has now been advertised by Melbourne City Council Planning Department. All previously received objections will stand.

If you are yet to submit a formal objection please go to the tab “Make a new objection”

If you have already submitted an objection, we strongly advise you to make an amendment to your objection in order to bring it up to date with the latest occurrences in the planning process. Please visit ‘Add to my objection’

    this was melbourne’s best music venue.
    it was architecturaly edwardian.
    it was easily to see the performance from anywhere.
    the sound was great.
    the location was perfect.
    i can’t believe that the government would even think of letting this amazing piece of melbournes history disappear from our cultural identity
